Owner's Description

This 15.537 grams, .999 Ag, 50 cents coin was minted to commemorate the Chinese Year of the Horse and has a very limited mintage of just 9,000. The Horse is the seventh animal in the twelve year Chinese Zodiac calendar. Exciting and extroverted, vivid and animated, those born during the Year of the Horse are the life of any party they attend. They are bursting with energy, always looking for the next place to kick up their heels and hang loose. Years of the Horse include 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, 1942, 1930, and 1918. The coin is 36.6 mm in diameter and has a milled edge. This coin has a very low NGC population of just 298.
