Owner's Description

This 23.3276 grams, .500 Ag, $1 coin was minted to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Saint-Maurice Ironworks, it had a limited mintage of 259,230 and has a very low NGC population of 80. The obverse engraved by Robert-Ralph Carmichael features Ironworks in progress (two Blacksmith's with hammers and anvil), date and denomination below . The reverse engraved by Arnold Machin features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The coin has reeded edges, is 36.07mm in diameter and 2.95mm thick.
