Owner's Description

This 23.3276 grams, .500 Ag, $1 coin was minted to commemorate the World University Games in Edmonton Alberta and had a limited mintage of just 340,068. The obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II with her head to the right engraved by Arnold Machin, the reverse depicts the Edmonton University Games logo with an athlete running engraved by Carola Tietz. The coin has a diameter of 36.0 mm and a thickness of 2.95 mm. This coin has a very low NGC population of 93.
