Owner's Description

The "baby Gobretch," this coin was dipped years ago and then retoned, which explains its dark toning. These small coins were the most sharply struck pieces in the Liberty Seated half dime series. The design was clean and uncluttered. Then the powers at be added stars and then a drapery, and the beauty of the coin was never the same.
