Owner's Description

The mint issued 755 Barber half dollars in 1903. Although that mintage in typical for the period, it is FAR less than the mintages noted in the modern era starting in 1936. <br /><br />This piece has choice, attractive surfaces with an array of attractive colors. There are only a few minor hairlines, perhaps as a result of a few slips and slides on a velvet lined coin cabinet tray.
