Set Description:
Punisher, Frank Castle, is gunning for the Marvel Universe! The Punisher is sniping! The Punisher is on the roof tops, the Punisher is firing off all the bullets he's got! He's on the mission and will pull out all the stops! A heap of a good time, if you like adrenaline, anyway it is a fueled ride. As much as the Punisher is against "drugs" or what is "illegal", he sure is most often after the thrill of it all. It doesn't bring "joy" half the time, and that's for sure. The Punisher? He is not always good with it either!
Punisher hasn't run out of ways to get the job done, though he's almost looked under every stone. A heart made of flesh that isn't so rock hard may not be allowed in his day to day, but keeping with the times, somehow, he gets by.
Going for points on any scoreboard, the Punisher is raking in the plots and executing the judgements that he has made to consider himself a powerful shaker and mover. Mostly within the Spider-man Marvel Universe at first, but then on to his own missions and calls to battle. Frank Castle is caught in the middle of good vs evil, and flipping a coin or by a chance of whimsy pulls out his own victories. It isn't all by way of a gamble, as he is also very calculated and precise, it is just the choices themselves and how they are accomplished that are the risk takers, and with Frank Castle as the Punisher expect it to be quite ruthless. He has his own emotions when coming to decisions, but they are often overridden by the urgency of what he is called upon, and a military background will train that focus into a sharpened weapon.

1st appearance of the Punisher (Frank Castle) and the Jackal. Signature Series by Stan Lee. Mark Jeweler insert and one of the first 4 books I got signed on 6/4/16. I dropped them all off at the Fan Expo Dallas 2016, which was my first bigger comic con. A 3.0, but with white pages. Many years from now, I hope mine is still as unique as it is today, no matter the grade! A great story, as the Punisher thinks Spidey is the bad guy. At the behest of a character named the "Jackal" there is seemingly information that is being fed to the Punisher, to get him to try to take the Amazing Spider-man down. Fast on his feet, Spidey escapes the bullet meant for him, among rooftops and talks some smack! Not to be out done the book wraps up as a plan foiled, but maybe foiled for another day, which means coming to terms with new enemies and friends.
Complete with a back cover picture of the ongoing adventures involving the Punisher, in gallery statue form. Hoping always to protect, and yet casualties happen, all in a day's work! Some grim exiles to last see the Punisher before their demise! Such a dynamic personality that spoke to the times. $467 Cost.

1st appearance of Dominic Fortune. Pendleton Interview. Punisher Origin. Signature Series by Len Wein on 7/23/17 and Gerry Conway on 6/24/17! One of the first two magazines that I submitted for grading! It's good that I got the Len Wein while possible, he RIP later that year. Still wish that I could have met him in person, great writer! This Punisher Origin kicks names and takes off to new heights and depths with emotional pleas for vengeance? Those are the past-times to the Punisher and what it takes to make a vigilante with an unrequited death wish to see justice dispensed, to those "deserving?" It will take a year or two, scratch that decades, no scratch that, to 2099 to see the ultimate Punishing. He gets used to the crime fighting that came, from inference, from the military, of which he still does business with from time to time. In the origin it was on his leave and at a picnic! Very sobering.
Complete with a back cover picture of the "Race" that the Punisher seems to be on, an all incorporating prophecy? Check please!

Early Punisher from his 1st Limited Series! A Duncanville Bookstore find but advertised as a 9.4 lol. When in hand, it looked pressed. Thought it was a decent price though, glad to have this long-needed addition to the collection and registry! Punisher!!! Not sure if the LCS had it pressed before selling raw, I myself did not press. Classic Mike Zeck cover, with the Punisher (Frank Castle) going into a rain of bullets. That was the 80's for you though! It meant the bigger the gun, the bigger the fun! Whoa, what an explosion we had for the anti-hero and the vigilante back then. Taking it to the streets, no that was a 70's song, I think. Good times, that was the 70's too, but with your usual Terminator 2's and other shotgun toting anecdotes. The 80's! Again, the bigger the stick or firepower, it was on like Alderaan even in the 80's with 90s following in rapid fire succession.
Complete with a Bowen statue as a back cover picture of protecting the family, as it is a Punisher certified must! Complete with automatics on the shoulder, a firm stance and trigger finger, with a bit of squint down the sights!

A rarer, non-foil edition of Punisher #100. This cover illustration only has a "direct version" and no newsstand edition. Cool Cover for Sure! Oh, Frank it NEVER ENDS does it!?! While I believe there is a foil direct and foil Newsstand, it had a different illustration on cover, of #100. I was told about this issue by Stormshadow_80 and Nepatkm, and Punisherpunisherpunisher, those 3 boardie's who are my Punisher go to's. There are others, and this issue is fun with the imaginative skeleton cover, withholding Frank back perfecting his aim. Got this copy from Duncanville Bookstore for a comfortable price. That is the problem with buying from Facebook live videos of LCS, you can't see it in person first. I'm happy it came back 9.0, even without a press, does my collection fine! The color really pops in this high of grade, and that is perfection.
Complete with a back cover picture of the other giant size issues, in increments of 25, all leading closely to the end of the run with issue #100! The Punisher! He is the "living on the edge" type of judgement, Ha-Ha.

Classic Cover! A Chilling Cover of BullsEye out to get Frank Castle the Punisher. He never misses, and with his trusty blade is out to get his target! Bullseye has always been kind of creepy. Add in the 90's decade where creepy is "in", and you've got disturbed, probably. Most Punisher villains have lost it in a big way though. I still have a raw of this issue and who knows as an under copy, maybe it'll get slabbed. Got to keep up with the classics, right? These are the late into the 90's-decade issues, and although long running, with the Punisher appearing in so many crossovers, I think people got too much of him at the time. In today's arena, it could be argued the "Punisher" is probably not "encouraged" for other reasons. He still gets around to having a worthy cause, and the comics have tried to detour the forward momentum, but even Frank Castle has appeared in video games among other media!
Complete with back cover picture of the new style of eerie, with the Punisher artist Dell Otto, but they are similar to #102, in that the center of the cover draws you in! These artists are getting more defined, and it does take skill to make you "want to look" at the cover with awe! I've been pleasantly surprised by a lot of Punisher characters and covers, whom may not be considered your typical "super-hero!"

1st that the Wolverine meets the Punisher! In classic Jim Lee style. This would be an issue that would be bagged and boarded upon release, at least back in the day. Yes, the Wolverine and Punisher may have eventually tried to wear out their welcome throughout the 90's, they are still very popular reads and collectables. Found this at the used bookstore while bin diving, and yes, the stain on the back was a misstep on my part. A very fine edition that can keep its current spot in my collection, if for the cover only. The Wolverine and Punisher mini-series is also something I read upon release as a kid, so all of these are nostalgia driven for me. The Punisher or Wolverine thought that their justifications for "violence", and or, "heroics" were somehow different. How dare the other act the way they do?!? Indeed, neither is a team player, but if I had to choose, it's Logan by a claw length. Take your pick!
Complete with a back cover picture of another "Punisher War" cover, a personal $1 bin find from a gaming store! This back cover "War Zone" issue is rumored to be hiding the 1st appearance of the "Lady Punisher", who went on to have her own wars in series and one shot!
Grader Notes:
stain right top of front cover;
tanning back cover;
very light creasing to cover.

The Punisher "KILLS" the Marvel Universe at the time in 1995! He's on a mountain of bodies, good or bad, the Punisher is coming for them! A must read and very titillating series! Big in the registry, the title alone makes it collectable. Who was alive back then that didn't hear about this book, and all who heard found it titillating to be sure. With the back cover skull, this was so "in", and they've since tried to do the same thing with Deadpool. The Punisher is usually serious, way too serious. Deadpool has a hard time being "taken seriously", so which do you pick? With John Bernthal, it's easy. Ryan Reynolds is perfectly cast and Bernthal is finding his stride. Take it to the bank! That classic punisher logo on the back cover is a nice touch as well. Many shirts over the years bearing that symbol, with some more sought after than others. I'll admit to owning a few myself!
In short, too good a back cover picture to replace with something else, it looks good on its own!

"Second Printing" With love comes the Punisher, blasting away on his instrument of the lethal variety. Steve Dillon cover and a pretty font! Those are the days to recount the "kills" of the Marvel Universe. Enough of play time, as he settles back with his trusty iron, to take aim at making the registry and collection. Bought today at $38 from Awesome Comics the LCS that has been trusty when trading in my $1 books! Woo-Hoo 3/19/23! Another Patrick's day weekend, and in store for the traffic, comes this hard white cover full of the black and white skull to penetrate the darkness with its own light of careful execution. Time is now for those who can afford risks to pay up as prices are tending to dissipate from the normal highs. I've got my sights on a few, and the pleasantness to try and hunt for these in the wild. Nice that the LCS is ranging from the Punisher to other sought-after relics.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen movie pass before released in theaters of the menacing guns of "Double Tap!" Known to some as Zombieland Deuce! Featuring well known and versed seasoned Zombie veterans.
