Set Description:
Bring me your Live Long and Prospers, Peace! What can you say about another brother of Cyclops? It's time for space travel and vengeance, that's what! Keep it real, and the drama may become too prevalent. Between creeping through the dark spaces of space, even to making threats against the teacher of the X-men. Poor Xavier is once again the target, but this time, will the enemy sneak through to success?
Xavier has a target on his back, and who must come but the Vulcan, in VF an NM/M no less! Bang ah rang, Xavier has to look out!
A series or set to show those bin dives, and or comic store purchases that were timely and considerate in making outings for comics successful. Those times of finding a new read that culminates in sending to CGC, or times at the LCS that show us slabs of already found bin dives. It just shows the fruit of said labor of love, and to the higher power in all of us that in turn sets us up with the right motives and ambitions to go about doing it all again! It means we are rewarded if we are diligent in well-doing, and for the sake of a hobby, it encourages those aspirations of depending on the good book. One day at a time, and we can get some goals before us that are honorable to share in the thrill of said hobby.

1st appearance of the Vulcan. (Gabrielle Summers) A sleek villain that the X-men find in space at a distress call. They get there only to be bushwhacked. The Vulcan has a target, and it is that of Charles Xavier! Gasp! Unfortunately, he comes too close for comfort, and the end is inevitably in the details. This short series gets solved fairly quickly, yet it is full of hardship. This issue has a regular cover and two variants. This particular copy is a variant that I found at a gaming store, and it was thumbed through many a time before I picked it up. Perhaps that is the reason for the grade, and I don't usually have things pressed. This grade may seem a bit harsh, with light bends and finger bends at an 8.0. Here we are, waiting to hear from Vulcan with the deciding factor or blow. Pairs well with my issue #4 though! And more back cover pictures Lord willing to come for this series!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to streaming and to see in theaters of, "Rebel Moon!" Space may be the final frontier, and yet, the X-Men have been cosmonauts more than once and always with a heralding of "Rebels" to join or stop. The Genesis of moon and space will repeat until there are stories to tell!

Early Vulcan appearance. Who could that be? Hold the wish in one hand and live long in the other, but a Keith's Comics find for a $10 keeper. Older label 9.8 beautifully preserved and entombed, showing the Vulcan and the "empty" chair. His goal? to kill, was it originally? Perhaps, but he has a mind changing event soon. After the X-men find him mysteriously stalking, they almost literally say, "What the?" He jumps and makes a dent, calling the others to come he displaces them momentarily and singles them out. This fun series, whether optioned or not, was once $1 bin fodder. I found the #1 variant cover for cover price or under, and it will soon be at CGC! When having a new collectable series fall into one's lap, you can usually seize the day, but I'll be taking my time, as this character is still a bit new and fresh. Would love to see where "they" go with this one.
Complete with a picture of a personal celestial event that happened to me on 3/08/24, to commemorate a total solar eclipse, with a 90% coverage happening the previous 10/14/23! I got my sights in and had a buildup that was nationwide! We all gathered with our special glasses, in the left of the picture, and had viewing parties and other memorable days in the dark in midafternoon daytime while outside! This Deadly Genesis being about scouting out Vulcan visa vie the moon and other celestial bodies.
