Set Description:
The Ms. Marvel of the '70s. She's Good. She's a Girl. She's Art! She goes through typical changes, but eventually real-life hits like a ton of bricks for this hero that has seen trauma and knows it! Not always to the understanding of her coconspirators, yes Ms. Marvel, she has seen her trials. This is the 1st ongoing series, to see it fleshed out and carried over from other "male" heroes. It can work, Marvel, tried and true?
Ms. Marvel, Ms. Marvel, wherefore art thou and can you please come over, Ms. Marvel. Sometime Roses aren't red, and Violets are not blue, but the beauty that is thy name is pure and true!
Carol Danvers may just as well be called Ms. Danger, as she finds that the world is out for her. She doesn't find it herself as she, a victim, has been hunted, ravaged, and otherwise mistreated so, that it takes a chronicling of movies to tell of the woe. They even attempted a rendition in X-men the animated series cartoon but kept it simple for the times and target audience. To regale of Ms. Marvel is to know sometimes life is not fair and square, even when it comes to lauded superheroes and their accommodations of accomplishments. Scripted and plotted came with care and precision that even sometimes the characters of comics get bested in the game of life. Interpreting those facts are at the readers discretion, as it is just a LOT and such is life to then write, tally, and or otherwise describe. A hard knock life!

1st Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel! Plenty of other guest appearances too, with a Peter Parker Cameo! Rock On!! Gerry Conway story, and John Buscema & Legendary Joe Sinnott art too. A Keith's Comics (LCS) find. He brought in slabs just for me, lol I had forgot he said he would and it's a good thing I came in that day! Brought my brother, as he wanted Magic (MTG) cards. I'm grateful for the gift from my brother that day, as it would have been tough for me to afford at the time. Even in 9.2, it's a nice presenting copy for the grade. Carol Danvers has been the long-standing "Marvel" of a character, as MS Marvel and at Marvel! Complete now with movies and bonified star status and a continued ongoing series in modern times. There can be several bearing the name of a superhero, yet the Carol Danvers version has seen the most trauma and therefore, hopefully, experience. I still think that Keith's was "new to sending in for CGC" and just wanted it back to sell. In other words, I don't believe they pressed with CCS.
Complete with a back cover picture of a regular ticket bought for what appears to finally be a great Ms. Marvel movie, the triple threat spectacular, "Marvels!" Not too shabby! A throwback to the early MCU and not forced or with buffoonery, or not as much as the first movie, when she crashed through a Blockbuster Video, which I still enjoyed!
Grader Notes;
light spine stress lines to cover.

1st Cameo App of Mystique! The Changeling, the mystery wrapped in a cause. She turns out to be a mercenary who is always on the other side of the table, here to bag her a MS Marvel! I do have a raw copy for reading as well! The movies could have been fun, but that get up they had Mystiques as, kind of looked sad in the facial expression. Like perpetual sadness or maybe a frown. I enjoyed the actress's ability, although she said that she was not into it, idk, it felt plausible still. I enjoyed the Mystique character later, as the mother of Nightcrawler. I can say she was awesome in the 1st appearances of Rogue. Still, she relied on fall back plans too much. Never being able to trust her compadres or conspirators, meaning the love she had was distorted and unfulfilled, which is a sadness that can't be hid. Fleeting types of excitement or thrill are her everyday heart's desire, much to her planning.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "MEG!" Shark infested with squids like this Ms. Marvel cover, sure to sink their teeth for underneath is the war of Tiger Sharks and the "Deadliest Traps!"

7.5 hahaha. Mystique cameo as someone else, i.e. a shapeshifter. I was totally expecting a grade in the 9's. I have "raw's" though. Almost a good girl art cover, MS Marvel needs to pull out a win! This one threw me off, because it looked too nice in hand that I immediately wanted to send it in. I did, yet probably needed the CCS, that I was not doing at the time. If there is ever a decent signing that is when I'd redo it. Still, this Mystique character is a great grifter, she goes from plan A to B and never misses an opportunity to just run. If she gets cornered, I've got to say, she always gets away. The few times someone has captured her, the escape always seems preplanned. Those Beat UP Ms. Marvel stories are fairly common, and this issue included, most are collectable but tell the story of Carol Danvers that she has gone through some STUFF!
Complete with a back cover picture of the "same Carol Danvers" somewhat reimagined as "Captain Marvel!" A movie on DVD as acted out by Brie Larson, with Stan Lee in the flick advocating "make love not war!" Again, with the song by Nirvana, "Come as You Are!"
Grader Notes;
multiple bend.
