Set Description:
Luke Cage, Invulnerable, let's make lots of money! Get hired, can't be fired, and tried on the wire with atomic explosions on Christmas covers! We need some iron in our diet, which we will have eventually. Iron FIST! It all comes down to brotherhood, and quite literally the hood. Does it stop? Does anything equal the lessons of "street smarts?" It can't be helped that the toughest lessons are based in the opportunity levels, of experience, or the lack thereof!
The actor did an incredible job and definitely a good look for the job, it takes character and stamina to be and play a tough guy with attitude!

It is the hired hand that makes the plan, and to put it to a hero makes the outgoing personality seem an Alpha male in fisticuffs! Making friends along the way, but what is it he mostly seeks after is the trust, trust, trust. The 70's were a time for blasting the covers with overindulgence, and along with morals inside that set the mood, it is as a backdrop that lets loose for street smarts. Living it up "aint" as easy as it looks, even as a hero! Not that there is anything wrong with that, comes by way of opportunity. Those alleyways are full of a fight in themselves whether sitting in a penthouse yourself or strolling to push for justice and the like in mercies anew from powers or invulnerability gained. Turn about being fair play, Luke Cage is meaning to clean up the act of those who will hear, and he aims to give everyone their shot as it comes. Everyone does learn by ways and means in their own individual way! Not all are a militia or some kind of over-the-top entity, but when that is the best way to land a punch, it is a straight uppercut to those out of touch punks!

1st Luke Cage. Archie Goodwin story! White Pages! I got this off the Dave and Adams website for a fair price, which was $325 shipped in 2017 or 18. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it priced fair with White Pages to boot! Some odd reason it picked up from there in value. I'm not sure there will be any ongoing series of this with Disney acquiring Marvel so to speak, we can hope! Older style label, but accurately graded. A man gets a gift and fairs well, until the love that is, is threatened. Life is tough, usually due to responsibility. Chalk it up for lessons to be learned, Luke starts out solo, but in the 2nd issue he gets a girl. Under that exterior Luke is using his newfound ability to get things straightened out in town. He talks a big game, but when doubted, he proves those abilities tried and true. Not so much on purpose, but it comes his way anyway, to reward him for stepping up for justice!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Shaft!" A modern portrayal of being an "untouchable" and that gives place to those who now walk in kind, making those issues and values purposed, and with positive results! Shut your mouth, results!

1st "Claire Temple". She's In Charge! This isn't any other relationship, nor any other Cage! Luke's got himself a girl to be spoken for, all rewards seem justified when you step up for actual justice! Newfound abilities? Well, those help, but character makes the man. Diamond Back Appearance. Get it done LUKE! Love, it can be dangerous and if not cultivated nor protected, it can be a "weakness" to any hero. A villain would like to dig in deep and it can cause loose morals in a person's character, and if someone has their ego bruised, it can make for an altercation. This book delivers with all of the above, and Luke finding out firsthand, that because of these "issues" and while "invulnerable", he is not invincible when it comes to the matters of the heart. What may come is fisticuffs of urgent proportions. Nice that the tanning didn't break the grade. Whew! Luke Cage trying to clear his name by bringing Diamond Back to justice this issue!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "The Hunger Games: The Ballard's of Songbirds and Snakes!" With similar theatric form about wanting to clear the names rewarded by birthright and powers that be, newly acquired too! The cheat codes that figure out how to come away with the win are universal. All while making headway with lore and character building! The games need to lure others to be extinguished in order for somehow "justice" to be formed and names in the mud cleared. It's a weird world when the big pictures play out!
Grader Notes;
very light cover tanning.

Great Atomic Explosion and a Christmas Cover! Die Hard eat your heart out! Bought today Easter Sunday 4/04/2021, beats watching the movie Mallrats: a Kevin Smith movie known for its Easter vibe, down the hop along trail. Church 1st and candy later! lol Update now with Christmas 2021 and the cover still hits the feels. Not the only cheer that we all thought was relevant for the Holidays, although it IS appreciated. Die Hard and movies keep us entertained, along with classic covers that can give us the goodness in spirit. I acquired all that inspiration from the explosiveness in the art, and the cover shows that sometimes desperate things can happen. Can a hero withstand and think on their feet? Winter is coming! Be available and quick to act, give and it shall be given, so stand therefore and you'll have some confidence back.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Violent Night!" The best you can do, is the best thing to do! A Santa miracle, taking my brother in typical fashion. Winter is upon us!
Grader Notes:
light, multiple stain center of back cover;
spine stress lines breaks color.
