Naomi McDuffie, with Mentor Dee is taking it upon herself to learn and fight the good fight, with the hope of making it through school as well. A CW show that made it one season before letting loose, this six-issue short run had its day of action and simmering. A lighthearted, in a way, series that has some nostalgia for school days! Where the heroes have the daily life to work out as well, it calls back to a simpler DC time! Those youngsters fill up some of the covers, and they are all grown up!
Having Superpowers does not automatically make you successful! It also takes tutelage and the correct format in style to make the front-page news! Plenty to come before and after, looking back we see who can give it another try to make the cut.
"Naomi" is a respectful name with honor from a culture that helps you become a lineage with a Boaz. This comic takes issue of this Naomi trying to find of where she comes from and what gave her the "power" to be special. It comes that way to find kin and redeem the time she spent looking, to then become all that she can. A plot kind of twist that arcs the six-issue series, with some character building being the finished product. She may again find usefulness in what she brings to the table of discussion for others and the representing of said pastime story facts and portrayals. To be honest, we all come from somewhere and whether currently of honor we cannot tell, save the future where we are all making our choices now, and for the better. To learn of these decisions in some filter is the culture we have passed down, and those circumstances do not always clue us in on which way to go. Some things come by faith, hope and love, we all see them in our day by day, with others to seek it for as well along the way!
