Owner's Description
Most of these 1962-Denvers were poorly struck, being rough looking. This one is choice an well struck
and designated as full steps. When I spotted this coin, I jumped up on the porch of the Monticello and seen
nice clean full steps. An just to give you an idea of its Rarity in this date, Ngc has only certified 4 of these
in fullstep where the highest grade is in MS66, with a Ngc value at only $144.00.
Now, Pcgs has certified 62 of these all in fullstep, where only the highest given grade it reached was in
a MS65, commanding a value price of $12,500.00 . Go figure! after two yrs, I still haven't figured that all
out yet, lol' . If someone knows the answer to this one, I'd sure appreciate knowing it .
But regardless of the low mintstate grade it was given, the population itself in this date is very low with
fullstep. I believe after studing the photos above, this should of been graded a ms-64, considering just
how rough most of these nickels turned out this year. All in all, It's definitely a keeper!
