Owner's Description
THE 1960 DENVER JEFFERSON MINTSTATE-67
I came to the conclusion that trying to find one of these in this date with nice full steps would cost me a fortune, so my
best alternative would be to find one in the highest grade possible.....
Here's a MS-67 Grade By NGC! As of July of 2012' (ONLY A DOZEN, HAVE MADE THIS HIGH A GRADE!) Three of
us have this coin in our 1939 to date/ Ngc Registry - (Jackie Gleason Quote) > Oh' How Sweet it is!

Jaime Hernandez: The 1960-D Jefferson Nickel is the most difficult coin to find with the Full Steps designation from
1938 to 1964. As of 2010, PCGS has not graded any 1960-D Full Step Jefferson Nickels. Most 1960-D Jefferson
nickels tend to have lots of nicks and scratches that usually keep them from obtaining a high uncirculated grade.
The reverse is also usually weakly struck. It is a very difficult coin to find in grades of MS66 and higher, with possibly
less than 50 to 75 coins in existence...
