Owner's Description
A 1958 Philly with those very rare fullsteps!
When collectors start talking about condition rarites, the 1958 Philadelphia nickel is right there! This Jefferson
nickel had a mintage of over 17 million, whereas' the survival-estimate, just in MS-65 condition is only 28,500
coins. Also, when you start looking for fullsteps in this date?, Now then, your really talking Rare! Go ahead and
zoom-in on that reverse photo, you can see those steps quite nicely...
Example: This coin thru- Pcgs has only certified 18 coins in a MS65-FS, none higher.
Ngc certified 7 at MS65-FS, with only 3 higher.
I believe in the near future with more young collectors coming into the market, once they find this most-diverse
jefferson series with a few these dates being extremely low in survivor-rate, values will surely take off. Finding
these in this condition and white are very scarce. This is where most of the Black-Beauty's" appeared also,
where few were found in1959. Few showed a remarkable dark gem look to them, as you'll notice with my
1959 coming up next.
