Owner's Description
The 1949-P Jefferson (with full-steps)
This date one of the rarest in the Jefferson series with Full-Steps.Most coins for this date the step area
is blank, very few were graded having a full-step designation with it. In 1949 the coin market was in a
sense of uneasiness, also fewer rolls were saved that exist today, also many are very rough looking
showing poor eye appeal.
Nicks and Bagmarks were common on these nickels as they were packed and literally tossed and
thrown around the room and on the trucks. Take a look at my (photos) you'll notice hardly any marks
on this coin. Now, that my friend is Rare!
