Second appearance of the Trickster, this book ranks in the top 5 in the census trailing a single 9.6, which I believe has cream pages. This is the first book in the solo run where we do not have a highest graded copy. Oh well, you can’t win them all. We acquired our book in the September 2010 Pedigree Comics auction.
9/2019: The above statement is no longer true, as we now also lack the top graded #109.
2026 Update: The single highest graded copy of this issue has been listed on the ComicLink Exchange for some tome now. Why have we not acquired it you may ask? Because it was listed at such an outrageously high price that no one has ever placed the required 50% bid. I did just check before making this set public, and the price has sine been reduced to $20,000. I do think that $10,000 (the minimum bid now) is still a little too high and question whether the seller has any interest in moving it. It’s a nice book with a Savannah pedigree, but it also suffers from cream/ow pages, a big drawback in the current market where there is an obsession over white pages. The only reported sale of the book was back in 2011 on Heritage for $4,331.88. I don’t know who the owner is, but I am surprised the buyer was not either Rob Rong or I since that is the era when we were in a death duel building our Flash sets-although his was never registered. I would like to own the book, but I am not that crazy yet.
