NM-, White Pages Question backup story. #3 was the last book I needed to complete this set. I never realized how scarce high grade Charlton books were to find. I first bought a proclaimed NM raw #3 from ebay that came back from CGC at a 7.0 with cream pages. My second attempt was purchasing a raw #3 in NM condition from High Grade Comics. I was concerned that a faint vertical groove that ran the length of the front cover and spine stress would hurt the grade if submitted to the CGC, but was hoping for an 8.0 or better. (Subsequently, I traded this book in to Mycomicshop.com for store credit and they only graded it at a FINE) As I was preparing to send the High Grade copy to CGC, I accidentally found a seller right here on the CGC boards who was getting rid of a #3-9.2 and a #2-9.0, both with white pages!..The Blue Beetle stars in "The Madmen." Untitled Question back-up story. Scripts by D.C. Glanzman. Plots, art, and cover by Steve Ditko. Cover price $0.12.
