Hulk flees the army with Betty Ross who convince the Hulk to stop at her hotel in NY so she can get some things. She is caught by some burglers and the Hulk intervenes but Betty calls the Hulk a monster which saddens him and he changes to Bruce Banner and gets shot by one of the Burglers. The evil Ruskies meanwhile have shot thier new secret weapon at NY, named The Missing Link. (Not the guy from the wrecking crew) He is an ancient prehistoric man brought back to life and mutated by radiation. Bruce eventually turns back into the Hulk, escapes from the police and happens upon The ML when he resurfaces, they battle, and the radiation from ML turns Hulk back to Bruce, but with Hulks brain. ML leaves Bruce alone, and gives him time to transform again and they fight once more, and Hulk buries ML under a building that collapses. Glenn Talbot shows up then with a device made by Reed Richards to turn Hulk back into Bruce. Not a smart move as ML frees himself from the building
