Owner's Description
This is one of two comics I owned in a CGC 9.8 grade that I willfully cracked out of its case in order to upgrade to a CGC Signature Series. The wait to turn these books around and see if they retain their 9.8 grade is simply agonizing. However, I am not one that is afraid to take a risk if the reward is great. In this case, the thought of getting my favorite character in a CGC SS 9.8, signed by the man himself Gerry Conway, was worth the risk of it potentially dropping a grade. I'd be more upset with myself for not trying than to have tried and failed. The risk paid off, and now I have the ultimate Firestorm holy grail. There are more valuable books in my collection, but this book easily is my most treasured and has the most personal sentimental value.
