Issue #8 features an appearance by Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). Our WP 9.8 comes from the Rocky Mountain Collection and is the single highest graded copy in the Census. We acquired the book in the 7/8/2021 Heritage Auction.
2026 Update: I admittedly don’t pay too much attention to this collection, but our book has now been tied by another copy. It’s still the only 9.8 pedigree, at least for now. And our two surrounding Rocky Mountain 9.8s, Issues #7 and #9, still top the census alone.
