Owner's Description

Early Gambit appearance. Chris Claremont story. Jim Lee & Whilce Portacio cover & art. Some transference of Ororo Munroe, who is the X-men's Storm, and it has caused her to return and appear and act as a youth. Back to before her powers showed evident with memories wiped of the same, while she goes back to thievery as she originally did in Cairo in the real existence. She reverted and separated from her grown up self as Gambit has now joined up with her, and they go to New Orleans to relive her memories anew as a thief. A character named "Nanny" has reverted Storm to her childlike thoughts and state, but now seeks her back from when she escaped, in order to continue and bend the will to hers. Well, the issue ends with Storm escaping with Gambit once again, and somewhat her original memories have returned, as she asks, "Gambit have you ever heard of a hero group called the X-men?" A promising glimmer of hope in recovery. Slab given to me by boardie "Universal Soldier" circa 2024 in the boards Secret Santa!

Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue, bought early on when back into collecting, got to love these soft issues for character building. Gambit, the lover he is, is having his wiles and wires tripped!
