Owner Comments:
The 1917 D Mercury Dime saw a mintage that dipped below 10 million. This example is very nice but has luster muted by the toning which I believe has lowered its grade, it is one I have considered upgrading, but it has sentimental value as one of the first Mercury Dimes I purchased, have owned this one over 50 years, as I recall I paid $15 for this coin, I had to Caddy for 36 holes to come up with that kind of money. While it is not FB it is about 90% full band and better struck overall than many Full Band examples I have come across. DL
