1715 Trier ½ taler struck to commemorate the death of Karl Joseph Ignaz Herzog von Lothringen (1680-1715), archbishop of Trier. Mint master Gerhardt Gödt (unsigned). Obv: St Helena in an ermine cloak holds the holy coat in front of her. Rev: Saint Peter with keys and book sitting on clouds in front of the Trier Cross. Rare issue. Classified as Zepernick 30, Schrötter 932. NGC AU-58.
