Owner Comments:

A very interesting coin showing the relationship between Hanover Germany and Great Britain. On the obverse is George III, King of England and Elector of Hanover. His grandfather George I was also Duke of Brunswick-Luneberg and the ties between Britain and Hanover began under his reign. The Reverse of the coin is another interesting coat of arms. A pretty good coin considering it's age.
