OBVERSE: The emblem of the Republic of Cyprus. ( A dove flying with a branch of olive within its beak, in a shield inscribed with the date 1960. All within an open wreath of olive leaves). The date above the shield.
REVERSE: A Moufflon or wild sheep (Ovis Orientalis) which has lived in the forests of Cyprus since neolithic times. The figure 100 below the animal.
DIAMETER: 28.5 mm.
WEIGHT: 11.31 g.
EDGE: Grained.
METAL COMPOSITION: Copper 75%, Nickel 25%.
ENGRAVER: W. M. Gardner.
MINT : Royal Mint, London.
MINTAGE: 25.000.
RARITY: Common.
