In 1932, the mint released what was meant to be a one year type coin, the Washington quarter. It was released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth. It was so popular with the public, it has continued to the current day.

This beautiful MS68 example has exceptional luster and splendid rim toning. This type is tough to find in grades over MS68 with NGC grading only 39 in MS68★ or MS68+, and a single one in MS69.
