Mexico City Mint Error
100,000 pesos Plutarco E. Calles Pattern which was struck on a 1980-Mo Onza.
NGC classified the coin as "Ineligible Type", therefore not graded or encapsulated. However, PCGS graded as PR67CAM Mint Error.
Although listed as a Pattern, it is widely believed that these coins were struck as "Mint Sport" using the original pattern dies from within the Mexico City Mint. They were most likely done for a private party. Many interesting Proof errors of this denomination are also known to exist.
