Mexico City Mint Error
100,000 pesos Plutarco E. Calles Pattern which was quadruple struck, all OC.
NGC classified the coin as "Ineligible Type", therefore not graded or encapsulated. However, PCGS graded as PR65CAM Mint Error.
Although listed as a Pattern, it is widely believed that these coins were struck as "Mint Sport" using the original pattern dies from within the Mexico City Mint. They were most likely done for a private party. Many interesting Proof errors of this denomination are also known to exist.
