The American two cent piece was one of the shortest lived denominations struck by the United States Mint.The series was only struck between 1864-1873.This 1872 two cent piece was graded VG 8 by NGC and is considered the rarest circulating coin of the set.While this coin is only in VG-8,once again these specimens are truly the coins that helped in building America.🇺🇸
