Owner Comments:
The only crown sized coin of the Ottoman Empire was the yuzluk, weighing in at 31-33 g and up to 45 mm in diameter. However, it was slightly less than half silver so it may not have been able to trade on par with the most favored trade coin, in the Middle East and North Africa, the Maria Theresa thaler.
