This coin is an 1810 Capped Bust 1/2 Dollar O-104a which has a very faint X on the OBVERSE field in front of Liberty’s face.If not for this,it wouldn’t be graded a Details coin and would be a strong XF-40 coin.It is still a very pleasing coin in it’s current condition and would be most welcome in many early Capped Bust Half Dollar collections.President James Madison was in office at the time of this coin’s striking at the Philadelphia Mint.
