The 1918 Illinois Commemorative was issued for the Centennial of Illinois Statehood. The Obverse depicts a young Abraham Lincoln, by George T. Morgan, famous for his Morgan Dollar. The Reverse is an adaptation of the Illinois State Seal, by John R. Sinnock, famous for his Roosevelt Dime.
