The sede vacante issue was struck in 1754 after the death of Karl Philipp Freiherr von Greiffenclau zu Vollraths (1690–1754). The medal is 29.1 g; 44mm. Classified as Helm 699 / Zepernick 259. It depicts the 3 saints of Wurzburg, martyred in 689 while performing missionary work in the area: Kilian, Kolonat, and Totnan.
