Owner Comments:

HONDURAS Provisional 2 Reales 1832 T-F XF40 NGC, Tegucigalpa mint, KM19. Unsurpassed in grade at NGC or PCGS. Three in total graded by NGC, two in XF40 (including this piece) and one in VF. None graded by PCGS. I believe that this .coin should actually grade closer to AU.
A very seldom encountered date that is often confused with the earlier Central American Republic coinage. Underrated as an issue as such.
Silver (.333) and Copper, Medal Turn, 26 mm.

Translation: Free grows fertile 1832 TF

Ex. Richard Stuart Collection

Two reales were struck intermittently using good silver at Tegucigalpa, Honduras, during 1825-32. Various types of debased silver were issued until 1854. All are scarce and rare in nice condition. Most are low grade and crude as made.

Recorded mintage: unknown
