Medal, Plaquette, 1920, Bronze Gilt, Belgium. JAN VON RUYSBROECK, by Floris de Cuyper (1875-1965). Friends of the Art medal. Jan van Ruysbrock (1294-1381). Right: The vicar of St. Gudule kneeling before Christ surrounded by four angels. Reverse: A man and a naked woman drinking from a source under trees and foliage. Representatives .: Ref Ch 193, 3 Sun. Size: 64x65 mm. History: The Blessed John of Ruysbroeck was one of the Flemish mystics. Ruysbroeck wrote twelve books, seven epistles, two hymns and a prayer. Attractive.
