Medal, Plaquette, 1922, Bronze, Belgium. DANCERS BALLET by Eugene J. de Bremaecker (1879-1963). Art Deco Uniface Plaquette, RARE. Size: 84mm x 57mm. Edge: Fisch et ice. Obv. 2 Female Figures mostly nude, Dancing, one leaping into the air helped by the other dancer, Excellent detail and very impressive visually, an outstanding work; Rv. Blank. Eugene J. de Bremaecker was a sculptor and medalist in Belgian , born in Brussels on 14 July 1879 and died in Ixelles on 18 January 1963 . He was a Student of Victor Rousseau and Julien Dillens . He is best known for his Portrait Busts and Dancers. Purchased in Belgium.
