Medal, Plaquette, 1950, Bronze, USA. NEW YORK STATE WOMEN'S BOWLING ASSOCIATION & TOURNAMENT 1950 by Jim Daniels, Manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag. Great Rip Van Winkle Scene. Obv. Old Rip, legs splayed, beard flowing, a hole in the bottom of his shoe, sound asleep, leaning against a tree alongside his musket. Clouds, pine trees, split rail fence. Signed in bottom left corner "Jim Daniels 1949"; Rv. Plain with two-legged uprights for table display. "New York State / Woman's Bowling Association Convention and Tournament / Kingston 1950". (Weight 9 1/2 oz.)
