Owner Comments:

Struck from the same dies as the 1864 No L Indian cent on a planchet composed of 90% copper and 10% tin with a plain edge. This coin looks much like a regular issue copper-nickel Indian cent, but the surfaces are a little brighter, with a silver-tan sheen streaked with honey color through the central obverse. The frosty surfaces are boldly impressed.
