While both the obverse and the reverse of this example mimic those of the 1864 No L business strike cent, this pattern was struck on bronze planchets whose thickness resembles that of the copper-nickel issues. A seamless chocolate-brown near-Gem, razor-sharp and beautifully preserved. CAC stickered.
