Owner Comments:
The obverse design shows the crowned & coronation enrobed bust of King George V with inscription GEORGIVS V REX IMPERATOR. The reverse design shows a wreath of mimosa encircling the figure 3 with inscription * SOUTH - AFRICA * ZUID - AFRIKA * DATE. The reverse design was only utilised for 1923, 1924 & part of 1925. In 1925 the design changed sometime during the year.
