Owner Comments:

The demand for the 2011 Bullion American Silver Eagle was very strong. This demand and the Mint's inability with all the other Mint programs demanding completion, the Secretary of Treasury ordered that the West Point and San Francisco Mints join in the production of the Bullion Eagles. This of course is because the Liberty Coin Act of 1985 states that production must meet the demand of the public.
The mintage of 39,868.500 is approximate. Population at this time is 13,316. The NGC Universal ID: 26KT. The catalog #KM-273. This coin has NO mintmark, which does not distinguish what mint the 2011 bullion coins were struck at. Because it carries the (S) label to show that it was struck in San Francisco. By having the double seal on the monster boxes and un-tampered with and received at NGC from the San Francisco mint they can then be certified as "Struck at the San Francisco Mint".
