San Francisco's Prooflike War Nickel:

Here is a 1945-S Prooflike Jefferson, I purchased years ago.On the Obverse side of this
coin shows its awesome mark free field-however when you view the reverse, it definitely
shows the heavy die polish lines where I finding out they are not uncommon to see on
prooflike nickels.

***
Registry point values for prooflike coins are seriously out of whack with reality.Prooflikes
are not all that well known or popular, so points for them are at a low priority. However, they
are still considered exceedingly rare in finding one.
***
It has been over half a century since its mintage showing only this one certified. I found the
following information and wanted to share this with you as well.

From 1942 thru 1945 making these Wartime Jeffersons only a tiny handful (9) are silver
prooflike 5c pieces. Ngc graded/certified over four thousand coins in this year, where this
San-Francisco Wartime PL- being the only silver (1) thru Ngc in a Grade of MS-65.
Unreal,,,,, isn't it?
