On August 2,1923 the 29th President of the United States,Warren G Harding,died of an apparent heart attack in San Francisco California.He was in the latter half of his 1st term as President.The First Lady,Florence King Harding,would not allow an autopsy,but most historians believe all the evidence points to a heart problem.Upon the President’s death,then Vice President Calvin Coolidge became the nation’s 30th President and his wife,Grace Goodhue Coolidge,became the new First Lady.
The coin in this set is a 1923 Peace Silver Dollar which was graded MS 65 by NGC.
