ONLY 4 GRADED HIGHER!
In 1956 the U.S. Mint sold 669,384 Proof Sets. But even though they'd upgraded their Proof Set packaging; from the old box-set to the new flat-pack in 1955 -- only 965 Lincoln Cents from 1956 have survived in Proof 69 RD condition. Just 4 1956 Proof Cents are graded higher than this coin.
