Owner Comments:

Although the 1896-S Morgan dollar had a mintage of 5 million coins, most went into circulation. Those that were kept in bags were apparently moved a lot, as they come with numerous abrasions and hits. While just over 200 coins have been graded by NGC in MS64, only 19 have been graded in gem or better. (9/2016)
