Mintage of 4,000,000. The most gorgeous Irish 3 pence I have ever seen. Let's start with the obv. of this coin. There are bands of magenta,lime green, and more magenta braking from the rims down into the fields. In the fields there is a band of yellow and then a band of forest green to the center which is a purple and green mix. Hold on now, the rev. is better yet. The reverse has a thin band of yellow and magenta fadeing into a sea green band around the hare and including its head. The body of the hare is a great magenta and purple mix. As a whole the coin just screams rainbow. Nice luster and to go along with all the colors. Part of a bank set in its ployfilm package purchased off eBay for $20.
