The Idaho State Quarter was released on June 4, 2007 as the forty-third coin in the State Quarter Program. Idaho’s original Statehood date was July 3, 1890.

The reverse features an outline of the State, the State motto “Esto Perptua” (May it Be Forever), and a Peregrine Falcon, one of the State birds (the other is a Mountain Bluebird).
