Owner Comments:

Yellowstone was established as our first National Park on March 1, 1872. The park is mostly located Wyoming, but it also flows over into Montana and Idaho. It is our first National park.

The Yellowstone National Park quarter is the second of 2010 and the second overall in the program. The coin features the geyser, “Old Faithful” and the iconic Bison. The coin is nice, but I was a bit disappointed that Wyoming used Yellowstone since it was featured on the Statehood Quarters. Grand Teton NP would have been an incredible substitute for this series!
