Owner Comments:

The park, located in northern Montana along the Canadian border, was initially designated a Forest Reserve in 1897. Glacier became a National Park in 1910.
The Glacier National Park quarter is the second to be released in 2011 and the seventh overall in the series. The coin depicts the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds with a Mountain Goat - - the Park’s official symbol - - the perched on a precarious overlook. Gorgeous coin! One of my favorites . . .
