Mintage of 352,000. Okay, I purchased this coin raw thinking it was a MS-63. I sent it off to ANACS, years ago, and it came back a MS-63, I was very pleased. A couple of years ago I sent it to NGC for crossover and they sent it back without crossing it over saying there were to many hairlines. I was so sure that this coin was not hairlined enough that it would get the "Details" grade that I broke it out and sent it back to NGC this past year. Alas, it came back with the dreaded "Details" grade of AU Details Surface Hairlines. I've looked at this coin under every light and angle and just don't see the hairlines that would make this a Details graded coin. I'd almost like to send it back in one more time.
