Owner Comments:

230/0 Top Pop as of May 2008. Awesome Ike that is spot-free, haze-free & blemish free. The holder has a few minor dings that can be seen in the pictures, but as you can see, the dings are on the holder and not the coin. Ike's second term started on an odd note. January 20th, Inauguration day was a sunday. Ike was sworn in during a private ceremony. The public ceremony was held the following day, monday. 1957 saw the introduction of the Eisenhower Doctrine. Basically stating that we would respond with force if attacked, and that we would go to the aid of any ally being attacked if asked.
